2014 was filled with TONS of OMG moments! Whether it was new albums being released, new celebrity couples, debut music or HUGE announcements…You name it, it probably happened in 2014, LOL! Looking back, there are SO many moments that shocked us (both good and bad) and with 2014 coming to a close, we felt the need to put together some of our favorite OMG from 2014! Check them out!
The FINAL episode of Sam & Cat!

2014 was a sad year for many Sam & Cat fans. Not only did we learn Nickelodeon would be canceling the hit comedy show, but 2014 also held the FINAL episode of Sam & Cat EVER! Even though the cancellation allowed for Ariana Grande to focus her time on the music we have come to know and love, we still miss seeing Jennette McCurdy and Ari’s smiling faces on our television screens!
The Wanted split up indefinitely!

Following the release of their single, “Glow in the Dark,” The Wanted confirmed what we had hoped was false - they would be splitting up indefinitely. Whether or not they will be getting back together in 2015 is still a mystery to us, but at least we have their previous music to keep us entertained for the time being!
5 Seconds of Summer released their debut single, “She Looks so Perfect!”
Isn’t it crazy to think that 5SOS released their DEBUT single, “She Looks So Perfect,” not even a year ago?! 5SOS was barely on our radar in 2013 and now that 2015 is just around the corner, we are TOTALLY obsessed with them! We don’t know about you, but we think “She Looks so Perfect” was just the beginning for the boys of 5 Seconds of Summer and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us in 2015!
Demi Lovato released first single off of Demi, “Really Don’t Care!”
We are totally obsessed with all of the songs off of Demi, but it wasn’t that long ago that Demi released the first single off the album, “Really Don’t Care,” which quickly became one of our fave summer jams to rock out to!
Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez ‘reportedly’ get back together.

2014 was filled with on-again, off-again relationship reports for Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, but it was their rekindling in June that qualifies as one of our 2014 OMG moments! After MONTHS of being broken up, Jelena started giving off hints that the famous duo were speaking again…only to be followed by months of more on-again, off-again reports, LOL!
Fifth Harmony won their first VMA!
5H shocked TONS of people when they won their very first VMA for Artist to Watch! Although Sam Smith was expected to take the award home, we were TOTALLY excited for Fifth Harmony and their adorable celebration was just icing on the cake, LOL!
Ariana Grande and Big Sean officially confirmed their relationship!

We had a feeling these two love birds were in a relationship but 2014 brought the OFFICIAL confirmation! If Ari and Big Sean thought they could hide their secret after “Best Mistake,” they were seriously wrong, LOL! They’re just too cute!
Taylor Swift released 1989!

Taylor teased us SEVERAL times with lyric clues, track lists and cover art before finally releasing 1989! Although we may be a little bitter it took so long, it was definitely worth the wait!
Camila Cabello and Austin Mahone (FINALLY) confirmed they’re dating!

Austin and Camila have taken the spot as our new favorite couple! It took them long enough to announce their relationship, but we are totally smitten with how totally adorable they are! Hmmm…maybe we will be seeing a collaboration in 2015? There’s nothing better than a duet!
One Direction released Four!

First Up All Night, then Take Me Home, then Midnight Memories and now Four! These boys are pretty much professionals when it comes to creating hit albums, so we OBVIOUSLY expected Four to be AMAZE and it totally is!
Selena Gomez released a greatest hits album, For You!

Selena was flying under the radar when it came to music in 2014, but she definitely ended the year with a bang! Selena’s greatest hits album For You was everything we could have asked for and MORE! Come one, releasing a greatest hits album at the age of 22? AMAZING!
